About Sunset Coalition

Sunset Coalition is a community advocacy group whose purpose is to address the unprecedented number of large development projects that threaten to impact traffic, safety and the environment along the Sunset Corridor between the I-405 freeway and the Pacific Ocean. Past and present projects include the Archer School for Girls massive expansion, Mount St. Mary’s Wellness Pavilion and Events Center, Brentwood School 30-year Master Plan, Berggruen Institute, Barrington-Sunset Commercial Project, California InclineCaruso Palisades Village.

The Coalition was founded by concerned individuals and organizations including thousands of residents from Pacific Palisades to Brentwood and Residential Neighbors of ArcherBrentwood Residents CoalitionBrentwood Hills Homeowners Association, Upper Mandeville Canyon Association, Bel Air Skycrest Property Owners’ Association, and Bundy Canyon Association.

The founders of Sunset Coalition are Wendy-Sue Rosen, president of Brentwood Residents Coalition, Zo and David Wright, members of Residential Neighbors of Archer and Brentwood Homeowners Association.
